TOWEEL: BOXERS READY TO CHALLENGE WORLD TITLES

Phuzi said he is ready to challenge the Ghanaian Abraham Tabular. “ Am work- ing on fitness level and pace. When ready will go for the world champion- ship,” said Phuzi.

Phuzi said the call to face Lerena or Mchunu in the ring will not benefit them as both rank above him. “Boxers want to challenge those ranking above them. If you challenge those below you, noth- ing to gain,” he said.

Frank Rodriguez is gunning to chal- lenge Rowan Campbell for the SA Su- per middleweight champion. Rodriquez will be fighting Stanis Apanu in a non ti- tle bout on Match. Fernando Rodriquez is in the middlweight division.

Jeff Magagane is No. 4 rated Feath- erweight in South Africa. He no longer hold the WBA Featherweight title as didnt defend in the nine month pre- scribed period.

Tshfhiwa Munyai is to challenge the SA lightweight title and will be squaring against Siphosethu Mvula in the ring next month.

Sikho Nqothole is the International Box- ing Organisation ( IBO) African junior bantamweight title holder.

Bangile Nyangani is the WBA Pan African mini flyweight title and African Boxing Union (ABU) SADC mini fly- weight champion.

Justice Siliga and Wilhelm Nebe are in the Heavyweight division. Siliga lost a fight against Ruann Visser. Sifiso Hlong- wane is in the Middleweight division.

Rhofihiwa Nemushungwa is in the Bantamweight division and rated No.3 in SA. Sanele Mhlungu is the junior Fly- weight. Nkhensahosi Makondo is in the Middleweight division.
